Betty Lou (Williams) Jackson

Betty Lou Jackson, 79 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away November 23, 2017 at her residence.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 from Noon until 2pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL.  The funeral service follow Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Jack Henson officiating.  Burial will be at Duncan Creek Cemetery.   

Betty was born April 30, 1938 in Franklin County, Alabama to Robert and Doshie Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Johnnie C. Jackson, her brother; James W. Williams, her sister; Doris Quillen, her sons; Rickey Hamilton and David Hamilton, her daughter; Linda Hatton and her grandson; Waymon Hatton.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her daughters; Darlene Duncan (Gary), Lisa Washington (Keith), and Tracey Hamilton, her sons; Wiley Hamilton (Cindy), Rickey Jackson (Marsha),  and Jimmy Jackson, her daughter-in-laws; Darlene Hamilton Walbaum and Candae Hamilton, her son-in-law; Doug Hatton, her sisters; Mary Holden and Barbara Pace (Alfred), 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Family would like to extend a special thanks to Kindred Hospice for the loving care that was shown to their mother.
