Evelyn Cummings

Evelyn Cummings, 69 years old of Sanford, FL. Formerly of the East Franklin Community, passed away July 7, 2017 at Deltona Health Care, Deltona, FL.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 6-8pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL.  Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00am at Pleasant Hill Congregational Methodist Church, Phil Campbell, AL. with Bro. Darryl Whitehead officiating.  Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery.

Evelyn loved riding her Harley and was an avid member of Rolling Thunder.   

Evelyn was born June 18, 1948 to Earl and Hazel Galloway. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray Cummings, her son Alen Cummings, her brother Dennis Galloway, and sister Nona Irvine.

She is survived by her daughter Audrey Brown (Tim), Son Al Cummings, Brother James Galloway, Grandchildren Racheal Brown, Jessica Brown, Melissa Cummings, and Christopher Galloway, and Great-Grandchildren Katie Lagaretta and Aubrey Brown.

Pallbearers will be Mark Goins, Tommie Parrish, Ken Bowling, T.C. Dawson, Ralph Perry, and Jim Vandiver.
