Mable A (Herring) Rogers

Mable H. Rogers, 91 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away August 22, 2017.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 6-8pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL.  Funeral Services will be Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00am in Akins Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Bert Fowler officiating.  Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery. 

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Russellville.

Mrs. Rogers was born June 2, 1926 in Franklin County, AL. to Fred and Vivian Herring. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Isaac H. Rogers, her son Douglas Riley Rogers, her sister Frances Williams, and brothers Donald Herring and Gerald Herring.

Mable is survived by a daughter Regina Rogers (Jennifer), sisters Catherine Jenkins and Carolyn Epperson (Jody), and a brother Harold Herring (Sarah).

Pallbearers will be: Members of the Russellville Masonic Lodge.
