Melissa Kay Allen Newell, age 38, of Phil Campbell, AL died Thursday March 14, 2013 at Russellville Hospital.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL; the 3 p.m. funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 20 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Darryl Whitehead officiating. Interment will in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Josh Wilson, Josh Pinkard, Tony Smith, Anthony Foster, Chris Butler, & Ricky Hall.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dylan Samuel Newell; parents, Johnny Satas & Kathy Dean Allen; brother, Jimmy Ray Carroll; grandparents, Clois & Johnnie Allen, Alex & Elizabeth Satas.
She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Kirk Russell Newell; sister & brothers, Felicia Dawn Allen, Johnny Satas, Billy Satas; uncles & aunts, Victor Satas, Maria Froga, Leo Satas, Nijole Grafer, Adele Keeton, Anthony Satas, Betty Trapp, Robert Allen, Millie Allen, Vickie Trapp; nephew & niece, Blayne Koonce, Danica Foster.
Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
