Vicki Clarice (Vines) Gandy

Vicki Vines Gandy, 63 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away October 8, 2017 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 6-8pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. A Graveside service will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Franklin Memory Gardens. 

Vicki was born March 22, 1954 in Birmingham, AL. to Marvin Taylor and Callie Vines.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and her aunt Clarice Mitchell.

Vicki graduated Jacksonville State University in 1972 with a B.S. in Education. She then received her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Alabama Birmingham.  Vicki taught at Hewitt Trussville Elementary School.

Mrs. Gandy is survived by her husband Kenneth Gandy, two sons Brandon Gandy (Aymee) and Justin Gandy both of Russellville, and her grandson Rhett Gandy.
