Violet Leindecker

Violet P. Leindecker, age 95, Russellville, AL passed away on Sunday, February 03, 2013. The visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday, February 04, 2013 at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL; the 2 pm funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 05, 2013 at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Mikey Scott officiating. Interment will be in Old Line Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Scott, Stevie Scott, Jerry Leindecker, Trevor Scott, Ryan Scott, Hunter Milam, & James Leindecker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Edward & Margaret McCain. She is survived by her children, Judy (Paul) Scott, Gerald (late Shirley) Leindecker, Donnie (Mary) Leindecker; 8 brothers & sisters; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a host of nieces & nephews. She was a member of Mars Hill Community Church, Phil Campbell, AL. We want to express their gratitude to Terrace Manor Nursing Home Staff, especially Darlene & Linda, Russellville Hospital 2nd floor staff for their loving attentive care they gave to our mother. “This Is Not The End. It’s just the beginning. I go to be with my Jesus. Let Eternity Begin.” Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
