Alberta Delgado Garcia

Alberta Delgado Garcia, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at her residence in Phil Campbell, Alabama.

She was born on November 7, 1938 to Inocente Delgado and Getrudes Garcia in Guerrero, Mexico.

She is survived by her husband, Faustino Betancourt Roman; daughters, Maria Elena Tafolla, Cecilia Leon; sons, Santiago Martinez Delgado, Roberto Delgado Garcia, Jose Luis Betancourt, Arturo Betancourt, Marvelio Betancourt, Francisco Betancourt, Artemio Betancourt, Joel Leon, Edgar Leon; grandchildren, Ericka, Claudia, Nellie, Roberto, Luis, Jose, Jesus, Victoria, Lizbeth, Michelle, Arturo Jr, Yovani, Yohana, Christopher, Anthony, Marvin, Tania, Jose, Faustino, Beto, Kevin, Anayeli, Alexis, Jacob, Francisco; Luis Angel Betancourt.

Alberta was preceded in death by her father, Inocente Delgado; mother, Getrudes Garcia; granddaughter, Miriam Martinez.

Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama.  The service will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Russellville, Alabama with Father Vincent Bresowar officiating.

Burial will be in Santo Tomas, Arcelia, Guerrero.
