Donnie Lee Wilson, age 68, of Russellville, Alabama passed away on April 1, 2024 at North Alabama Medical Center. He was born on September 19, 1955 in Franklin County, Alabama.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama. Burial will be on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 11:00 am in Dempsey Cemetery, Russellville, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Harvey and Lois Humphries Wilson; brother, Danny Ray Wilson; sister, Carolyn Tesner.

He is survived by his daughter, Maria Wilson; sister, Sue Self; brothers, Phillip Wilson, Marion Wilson, Harold Wilson; grandchild, Bethany Wilson (Denver); great granddaughter, Rosalie Mohr.
