Barbara Oliver King, 76 years old of Phil Campbell, AL. Passed away July 3, 2017 at her residence in Phil Campbell, AL.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 6-8pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL.  Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 2:00pm in Akins Funeral Home chapel.  Burial will be at Liberty Hill Cemetery.  Officiating will be Bro. Greg Beasley.

Barbara Oliver King was born September 13, 1940 in Franklin County, AL. to Lenard and Virgie Oliver. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack C King and an infant daughter Wanda K King.

Mrs King was a retired EMT serving the city of Phil Campbell, AL for many years.  

Mrs King is survived by a daughter Cindy K Hargett (Mike) Two sons: Phillip W King and Barry J King (Vicki), One brother Leroy Oliver (Donna) and one sister Shirley Byars, Grandchildren: Kimberly Hargett Horton (Tim), Dustan J King(Bethany), Whitney K Dawson (Cedrick), Mialey Hargett Baker (Kyle), Bryant W King.  Great  Grandchildren: Olivia Hood, Tucker King, Eli Hood, Hannah King, Anna Kate Hood, Abigail King.

Pallbearers will be: Carl Cooper, Thelan Lacey, Eddie Barton, Merrell Potter, Terrell Potter, Shane Johnson, Robert Hooker and Roy Nagle.
