Calvin Billy Borden

Calvin Billy “Boomer” Borden, 56 years old of Phil Campbell, AL. passed away March 18, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center.  

Visitation will be Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. Funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Sister Carolyn Baker officiating. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.

Calvin was born June 22, 1962 in Tuscumbia, AL to Billy and Carrie Borden.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Skyler Cecil-Leon Borden.  

Calvin is survived by his daughter, Savana Borden; his stepchildren, Ariana Galvez, Lucio Tabares, Camila Garcia, and Melani Garcia; his sisters, Glenda Gail Moore and Elizabeth Marie Smith; and his grandchildren, Tatyana Galvez and Cataleia Borden.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
