Elizabeth Nix

Elizabeth Nix, 85 years old of Russellville, AL passed away September 17, 2019, at North Alabama Medical Center.

Visitation will be Friday, September 20, 2019, from 10 am-11am at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL.  Funeral service will immediately follow in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Elizabeth was born February 5, 1934 in Red Bay, AL to Ed and Ila Prestage.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louie Nix; and her sister, Ruth Hamm.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Connie (Jack) Clayton; her sons, Randy (Donna) Nix and Tim Nix; her sisters, Dorothy Stepp, Berldeen Orrick, Barbara Kay, and Virginia (Joe) Scott; her brother, Eddie Prestage; her grandchildren, Ryan (Lisa) Clayton, Tyler Nix, and Amber Nix; and three great grandchildren.  

Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
