I'm really sorry for your loss. The Lord's Prayer tells us to pray for God's Kingdom to come to earth as it is in Heaven. His Kingdom will eliminate death. Revelation 21:3,4 helps us to appreciate that our Heavenly Father will "wipe out tears and pain, and death will be no more." John 5:28,29 tells us that there is resurrection hope.
