James William Cason

James William Cason, 87 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away April 4, 2019 at Terrace Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  

Visitation will be Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. Funeral service will be Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Witt officiating. Burial will be in East Franklin Cemetery.

James was born March 22, 1932 in Town Creek, AL to Henry Marion and Viola Cason.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ora Lee Cason; his son, Ronnie Cason; and his brothers, Eugene Cason and Billy Cason.   

James is survived by his wife, Ruth Cason; his daughter, JoAnn Cason Luark; his son, David Cason (Sherry); his grandchildren, Chris Garrison (Ronna), Alicia Cason Ward (Scott), Alanna Cason, Bret Gosa (Dustie), Lillee Cason, and Khloe Cason; and six great grandchildren.
