Jamie McLemore

Jamie McLemore, 67 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away April 24, 2018 at his residence.

Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2018, Noon- 2 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Scotty McLemore officiating.  Burial will be at Mars Hill Cemetery.

Jamie was born January 21, 1951 in Franklin County, AL. to James and Irie McLemore.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Shannon McLemore; his brother, Travis McLemore; his grandsons, James Whitman and Johnny Whitman; and his son-in-law, Jerry “Punk” Whitman.

Jamie is survived by his wife, Martha McLemore; his daughters, Christy McLemore (Billy Hood) and Melanie Whitman; his sisters; Corine  Swinney, Cavylene Hawkins (Kenneth), Dorthy Winstead, and Nadine Motes (Steve); his brother Johnny McLemore (Sherry); his grandchildren; Cody Fisher, Courtney Fisher, Kyle Hood, Blake Whitman, Kaylee Whitman, and Bailey Hood; and his four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Hood, Cody Fisher, Dale Lindley, Timmy Hall, Bailey Hood, Mark Brazell, Tim McLemore, and Stevie Motes.

Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
