Larry Odell “Hippie” Baker, 60 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away June 1, 2018 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 6-8pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11 am in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Delmer Duboise officiating. Burial will be in Gray Rock Cemetery.

Larry was born July 23, 1957 in Franklin County, AL. to Audie and Jessie Mae Baker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Hershel Baker and Donny Baker; and his sisters; Judy Marquiss, Barbara Scott, and Jolene Pounders.

Larry is survived by his wife, Wanda Baker; his son, Nathen Baker; his brothers, Robby Baker and Ricky Baker; and his sister, Doris Darity.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Marquiss, Roger Caldwell, Buddy Caldwell, Jimmy Caldwell, Brandon George, and Eddie Mills.

Honorary Pallbearers are Brayden Jeffreys, Gary Fretwell, and Roy Cornelison.
