Joyce Ann "Earl" Evans, age 71, of Phil Campbell, Alabama, passed away August 8, 2026.

She was born January 25, 1955, to Herman Dimond Evans and Margie Francies Evans.

Earl was a friendly and outgoing person who never met a stranger. She had a warm personality and a way of making those around her feel welcome. She loved her church, her family, and her dogs, all of which held a special place in her heart. Earl treasured the time she spent with those she loved and enjoyed the simple things in life.
In her free time, Earl enjoyed traveling and visiting new places. She also loved settling in to watch her favorite crime shows and horror movies. Her kind spirit, outgoing personality, and love for others will be remembered by her family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Blue Springs Freewill Baptist Church, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery in Russellville, Alabama.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Felicia Scott and Angela (Tommy) Foster; grandchildren, Angel Humphres, Erica Humphres, Nicki Gasaway, T.J. Foster, Jessica (Heath) York, Jimmy (Quanicha) Foster, and Jacob Foster; brother, Don (Rebeca) Evans; sister, Linda (Bobby) Newell; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

She is proceed by, parents Herman and Margie Evans, grand parents, and grandchild Cody Gasaway.
