Rayan Trapp Obituary (1930

Rayan Trapp, age 95 of the East Franklin community passed peacefully at Terrance Manor Nursing and Rehab, Saturday, September 20, 2025. Rayan was born August 29, 1930 to Charles Lee and Lillie Trapp. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. Rayan was an expert marksman, a skilled master craftsman, and a hard working millwright. Above all Rayan was a generous and kind man. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Akins Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. where a funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Burial Will take place at East Franklin Cemetery. Brother Rick Yocom will officiate. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Stanford, Shannon (Jamie) Boyles, Christy Trapp; grandchildren, Jerel Osborn, Stephanie Osborn, Mellie Stanford, Patrick Trapp, Matthew Trapp, Candace Trapp, Emmi Sanders, Jake Boyles, Ella Boyles; great grandchildren, Eli Montgomery, Tyler Osborn, Cainan Montgomery, Ava Berryman, Sammy Harris, Gracie Harris, Denny Stanford, Marcus Stanford, Charlie Goines, Oliver Goines, Lillie Trapp, Ethan Trapp, Katherine Trapp, Celia Trapp, Emilia Trapp; sister, Gwendolyn Colburn; and a host of nieces and nephews. Rayan was preceded in death by his wife Christine Marie Trapp; son, Rickey Trapp; grandson, Cody Trapp; great granddaughter, Cecilia Trapp; parents, Charlie Lee and Lillie Mae Cain Trapp; brother, Silvia "Silvie" Trapp; and sisters, Verla Trapp Elliot, Lurra "Lurrie" Trapp Williams, Arcula "Mutt" Trapp Brooks, Artrilla "Dutte" Trapp Crumpton, Dean Trapp Crumpton and Gene Trapp Hutcheson.
