Wanda Gail McGee

Wanda Gail McGee, age 74, of Russellville passed away on April 28,2026 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 19, 1951 to Ollie and Betty Jo Thornton. Wanda loved spending time with her family and her dogs Bella and Peanut. She was a joy to be around and always brought a smile to your face. Wanda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Thursday April 30, 2026, from noon until 1:00p.m. at Akins Funeral Home where the service will be held at 1:00P.M. in the Akins Chapel. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Brother Jeff Fleming to officiate. Pallbearers will be, Robert Smith, Michael Sumeral, Andrew Fugate, Blake McGee, Daniel Wynn, Weston and Case Fugate.

Wanda was survived by; Donald McGee; daughters, Alicia(Robert) Smith; grandchildren, Brooke (Daniel) Wynn, Kana (Andrew)Fugate, Breannia (Matt) Oneal, Blake (Allison) McGee, great grandchildren, Madison, Weston, Case, Blakley, Bentley, Sawyer, Ridge, Parker, Pearl, and Ramsey, sisters; Brenda Holaway and Rita(Tom) Goss, aunt; Bernice (Tony) Whitehead, niece Niki Daniel; nephew Shannon Holaway and Brandon Holaway.

She is proceeded in death by her; parents; Ollie and Betty Jo Thornton and Richard (Mildred) McGee, son Michael Anthony McGee, and brother-in-love Donnie Holaway
