April Marie Green, 26 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away peacefully, Friday, April 9, 2021.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 13, 2021, 6-8 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 14, 2021, 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home. Burial will be in King Cemetery.

She was born July 14, 1994, in Russellville, AL to Stevie Green and Connie Chaney.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stevie Green; Grandmother, Bertha Green; her grandparents, JR and Ann Chaney; and her foster mom, Terri Taylor.

April is survived by her mother, Connie Chaney; her brother, Corey Green (Jasmine Bookert); her foster father, James Taylor; her foster brother, Jim Taylor; foster sisters, Allison Grissom (Kevin) and Jennifer Wood (Dylan); her nieces, Zailynne Green, Anna Grissom and Gracie Wood; her nephew, Dee Wood; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Corey Green, Domonic Baker, Nikolas Chaney, Roger Chaney, Matt Chaney, Christopher West, Devin Herring, Chris (Rabbit) West, and Trey Enlow.
