Bobby Monroe McCalpin

Bobby Monroe McCalpin, 62 years old of Russellville, AL passed away April 12, 2022, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Visitation will be Friday, April 15, 2022, from noon until 2:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery. 
He was born June 1, 1959, in Franklin County, AL to Robert and Jackie McCalpin.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father; his maternal; and paternal grandparents. 
He is survived by his wife, Linda Warhurst McCalpin; his mother, Jackie McCalpin; his children, Timothy McCalpin (Farrah), Anthony McCalpin, and Justin Smelser (Tessa); his stepdaughter, Lisa Hillman (Dean); siblings, Kay Renfro (Wendell), Donald McCalpin (Karen), Phillip McCalpin (Emily), Thomas McCalpin (April), Marie Parker (Curtis), and Mary Katherine Harrison (Drew); grandchildren, Alexis, Kyle, Gavin, Caden, and Raelynn; his great grandson, Connor; and his best friend, Jimmy Boyd. 
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Boyd, Steven McCalpin, Joey McCalpin, BB McCalpin, Jeff Wyman, and Dean Hillman. 
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Doctors and nurses of Helen Keller Hospital.
