Donald C. Harbin Sr., 85 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away January 23, 2021 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021 5-8 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 11:00 am in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will be in Tharptown Cemetery.

Donald attended Heritage Fellowship Church.

He was born June 30, 1935 in Russellville, AL to James and Mary Lela Harbin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Harbin; and his siblings, Christine Andrews and Melvin Harbin.

Donald is survived by his children, Debbie Smith (Dennis), Helen Sue Standridge, Curtis Harbin, and Donald Harbin Jr. (Jaunita); Seven grandchildren; Fourteen Great Grandchildren; Two Great- great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Eric Harbin, Colby Harbin, Chris Douglas, Justin Gilliland, Elijah Watson, and Tommy Beasley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Pitts and Hunter Harbin.

Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
