Donnie Gene Vandiver

Donny Gene Vandiver, 62 years old of Russellville, Alabama passed away on March 7, 2023. A graveside
service will be on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Russellville,
Alabama. He was born on July 11, 1960. Officiating will be Bro. Jarred Helms and David Hester.

He is preceded in death by his father William Vandiver and mother Johnnie Sue Searcy Vandiver.
Brothers Ronnie Vandiver and Terry Vandiver.
Donny is survived by his nieces Kassie Vandiver (Don Prince) and Katie Vandiver.
Pallbearers Mike Prince, Geoff Wright, Edward Searcy, Brian Shackleford, Sam Warf, and Chris Hargett.
Donny was a member of the Russellville Police Department for over 20 years and owned his own
ambulance service. Donny was a really good man, with a big heart. He was just an all-around good
person. He was a hard worker being employed at his current job for 20 years. He will truly be missed.
