Obituary

 Douglas Arlie Bohannon, 77 years old of Florence, AL. passed away November 26, 2020 at his residence.   

Visitation will be Wednesday December 2, 2020, from Noon until 1 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 1pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Kirk Bishop officiating. 

Douglas was born July 19, 1943 in Iuka MS to Arlie and Avie Mae Hamm Bohannon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mabra Louise Bohannon; his son, Rex Bohannon; and his brother, Danny Bohannon.

Douglas is survived by his sons, Jeffery Bohannon (Stacey), Dennis Bohannon (Deanna), and Chris Bohannon; his daughter, Deborah Stephens (Perry); his siblings, Brenda Kennemur (Danny), Kay Oliver (Tommy), Diane Wilson, Annette Leonard (Roger), Oscar Bohannon (Debra), Dwight Bohannon (Phyllis), and Randy Bohannon; his nine grandchildren; and his seventeen great grandchildren.
