Georgette Burks

Georgette Burks, 60 years old of Phil Campbell, AL. passed away September 1, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 4, 2021, from Noon until 2 pm at Pleasant Hill Church, Phil Campbell, AL. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2 pm with Bro. Darryl Whitehead and Joe Cagle officiating. Burial will be in Spruce Pine Cemetery.

She was born March 11, 1961, in Birmingham, AL to James and Sarah Williams.

Georgette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Joe Burks; and her sister, Melissa Moore.

She is survived by her children, Billy Joe Burks (Obrey), April Burks (Melissa), and Jason Burks; her brothers, Tracey Williams (Kristen) and Mark Williams (Patricia); her grandchildren, Sarah Grace, Avery, Roxlynn, Bella, Jason, and Alaina; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Chaney; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jason Burks, Zachary Williams, Markie Williams, Andy Stalter, Matt Waldrep, Brittany Vines, Tim Chaney, and Jeff Chaney.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tracey Williams and Mark Williams.
