Gregory Deon Hagood, 49 years old of Phil Campbell, AL. passed away September 23, 2020.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2020, noon- 3:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. Funeral will immediately follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Aaron Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Greg was born July 16, 1971, in Boynton Beach, FL to James and Nettie Hagood.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Hagood.

Greg  is survived by his wife, Melissa Hagood; his father, James Hagood; his children, Caleb Hagood and Brittany Hagood; his siblings, Darrell (Teresa) Hagood and Lisa (Jason) Baker; brother In laws, Glenn (Crystal) Bonner and James Bonner; sister in laws, Regina (Buddy) Mustgrove and Glenda Dodd; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Hagood, Michael Fish, Mike Willis, Matthew Hagood, Jacob Demastus, and Members of the Local Masonic Lodge.

Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
