James (Jim) Ellis Motes, Jr., 46 years old of Spruce Pine, AL passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022, in Birmigham, AL. A memorial services will be at a later date

He was preceded in death by his father, James Motes; mother, Matti Lou (Pat) Sumeral Motes.

James (Jim) is survived by his daughter Ruby Motes; brother, Mark Sartin (Melissa); sister Necole Welborn; twin sister Margie Coil, and a host of nieces & nephews..
