Jean (Trapp) Hutcheson

Jean T. Hutcheson, 86 years old of Phil Campbell, AL. passed away March 8, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center.  

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 10 am until Noon at Akins Funeral Home Russellville, AL. Funeral service will immediately follow at Noon in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Merrell Potter and Joe Spiller officiating. Burial will be in East Franklin Cemetery.

Jean was a member of New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.

She was born October 6, 1933 in Phil Campbell, AL to Charles and Lilly Trapp.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Oscar Hutcheson; her parents; her daughter, Anita Kay Spiller; and her siblings, Silvie Trapp, Verle Elliott, Lura Williams, Arcula Brooks, Autrilla Crumpton, and Dean Crumpton.

Jean is survived by her sons, Gary William Hutcheson and Steve Alan Hutcheson (Patsy); her siblings, Gwen Colburn (Al) and Rayon Trapp (Chris); her grandchildren, Scott, Adam, Michelle, and Amanda; and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Dylan, Penny, Coda, and Lachlan.

Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
