Jimmie H WeHunt

Jimmie H. WeHunt, 76 years old of Phil Campbell, AL passed away January 3, 2020. 

Visitation will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 5-8 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. Funeral service will be Sunday, January 5, 2020 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Darryl Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.

Jimmie was born April 18, 1943 to James Hollis and Mabel WeHunt.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jimmie is survived by his sons, James “Jay” WeHunt (Mary E) and Cody WeHunt; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Cummings, Joey Norton, Willi Cummings, Robert Hall, Bob Maggerise, and Lyle Garrison.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Russell and Huedon Landers.

Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
