Jimmy David Jackson, 67 years old of Haleyville, formerly of South Georgia, passed away on January 2, 2021.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 5, 2021 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL

He was the son of James and Margret Jackson of Reynoldsville, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margret Jackson, brother, Randy Jackson; and his daughter, Angela Jackson.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 33 years Amy Knight Jackson. His children Eric (Betty) Jackson of Phil Campbell, AL, Kellie (Dylan) Childers of Bear Creek, AL, Rebecca (Adam) Jones of Lessburg, GA, Kristina (Robert) Hill of Morganton, KY, Jonathan (Ella) Jackson of Bowling Green, KY, CJ (Brittney) Jackson of Jasper, GA; his siblings, Sherry Awbrey (Sabrina) of Columbia, TN, Debra (Billy) Pollack of Albany, GA; sister in law, Angela Jackson of Bacanton, GA; 16 granchildren (plus one expected in August); one great grandchild; and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
