Jimmy Boyd Seal

Jimmy Boyd Seal, age 85, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023.

He is survived by his spouse, Carolyn Marie Seal; sons, Ricky Young (Lee), Scott Seal (Misty); sisters, Peggy Fuller, Clovis Hamilton, Mary Thorn (Bill); brother, Ray Seal (Lynn); grandchildren, Brett Young, Megan Young, Denver Seal, Carley Seal, Kyle Seal, Will Rhodes.

He is preceded in death by father, Gordon Seal; mother, Etta Seal; brothers, Jesse Seal, J.T. Seal, Troy Seal.

Jimmy worked for 53 years as an accountant for Seal Tax Service as well as working for Reynolds Metals Company for 40 of those years. He was an avid sports fan playing and winning a lot of golf tournaments. He was a supporter of football and basketball.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 12 pm – 2 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm in the chapel. Bro. Wade Wallace will be officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
