Obituary

Larry Dwight Saint, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Saint was a member of Shady Grove Church of Christ and was retired owner of Holden’s Auto Service.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 53 years, Evelyn; daughter, Stacie Beavers (Mark); son, Shawn Saint (Ashley); sister, Dorothy Hatton (Donald); nine grandchildren, Kristen, Blain, Lauren, Alex, Sara, Dilan, Kailey, Kinsley, Wilson, Bristol; seven great grandchildren, Maddie, JW, Brynlee, Hadley, Aiden, Kaden, Kenslie and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Wesley Saint; mother, Virginia Estelle Thornton; step father, Alex Thornton; son, Steven Saint; sister, Linda Miller.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Stanley Hargett officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to your favorite charity in his honor.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Heart Health Center Dr. William Heaton, Enhabit Hospice nurses, Jennifer Baker and Constance Fretwell. Treasured friends, Darlene and Steve Hill, Lisa and Mooch Hester, Bill and Jacque Boggs, and Dave Galloway.
