Mary Jo (Jackson) Mitchell

Mary Jo Mitchell, 66 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away August 7, 2020 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Mary Jo was born March 11, 1954 in Colbert County, AL to Roy and Sue Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Odas C. Mitchell; and her brothers, Terry Jackson, Randy Jackson, and Ricky Jackson.

Mary Jo is survived by her children, Sheri (Timothy) Clutts and Odas (Judith Ann) Mitchell; her sister, Brenda Gail Jackson; her grandchildren, Greg, Danny, Christie, Eric, Emily, Elisabeth, Ester, Mandy, Melanie, and Jesse; and her nineteen great grandchildren.
