Obituary

Lonnie Paul Cummings passed away peacefully on March 31, 2023. He was born January 30, 1938 to Columbus and Glenna Mae Cummings in Trapptown, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bud, and son Stacey.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Shirley, son, Mickey (Lauren), daughter, Debbie Morrison (Roger), 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He served as a pastor for 40 years in numerous churches in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 4, 9-11 am at Union Hill Methodist in Trapptown with the service following at 11.

Akins Funeral Home in Russellville will be in be assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideon’s International.
