Ramon Ortega

Ramon Ortega age 69 of Russellville, Alabama passed away on October 21, 2023 at North Alabama Medical Center, Florence, Alabama. He was born on November 18, 1953 in Mexico.  Ramon worked for W.A. Kendal for 14 years.

He is survived by his 7 children, Raymond Ortega, Edward Ortega, Olga Agirre, Leonel Rodriguez, Rony Rodriguez, Gerson Rodriguez and Felipa Rodriguez.

Ramon is preceded in death by his wife Irma Esperanza Ventura Ortega; father, Anastacio Ortega; mother, Carmen Contreras.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 11:00 – 1:00 with the service following at 1:00 in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama. Officiating the service will be Domingo Mederos with burial in the Franklin Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers Carlos Barahona, Luis Betancourt, Javier Morales and Leonel Rodriguez.  Honorary pallbearers Raymond Ortega and Edward Ortega.
