Ruby Sturdivant Obituary
Ruby Juanita Sturdivant, 90 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away January 24, 2021 at Terrace Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
She was born May 29, 1930, in New Site, Itawamba, Mississippi to Thomas Homer and Ollie Mae Green Owens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Sturdivant; her daughter, Vicki Lynn Beasley; her daughter-in-law, Kim Diana Kahler Beasley; her granddaughter, Michelle Renee Beasley; and her siblings, Dorothy Oletha Owens, Reba Wilodean Hankins, Mary Joyce Busby, Fairy Nell “Jean” Bates, Thomas Edward “Eddie” Owens, Hilma Sue “Hank” Delany, and Judith “Judy” Carrol Lewis.
Ruby is survived by son, Steven Keith (Catherine) Beasley of Arlington, TX; her brother, Jack (Lynn) Owens of Fulton, MS; her granddaughter, Cristy “Cricket” Diana (Bryan) Simmons of Temple, TX; her great grandchildren, Dylan and Brynleigh Simmons of Temple, TX and Abigail, Marcus, and Kade Kaison of Texas.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Morrow, Russellville Hospital, and the staff and nurses of Terrace Manor Nursing and Rehab for the years of compassionate care they provided.
