Skipper Warhurst

Skipper Warhurst, 64 years old of Phil Campbell, AL. passed away January 13, 2020.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2020 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. Funeral will immediately follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Ricky Phifer and Todd Carter officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.

Skipper was born October 16, 1955 in Russellville, AL to Verdo and Mildred Warhurst.

 He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sherry Diane Warhurst.

Skipper is survived by his sons, Josh (April) Warhurst and Justin (Ericka) Warhurst; and his grandchildren, Hannah Warhurst, Olivia Warhurst, Josie Warhurst, Jesse Warhurst, and Jack Warhurst.

Pallbearers will be Josh Warhurst, Justin Warhurst, Daniel Wynn, Buddy Smith, and Andrew Harris.

Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
