Thomas "Tommy" Bearden

Thomas “Tommy” Bearden, 77 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away November 16, 2022 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Visitation will be Monday, November 21, 2022, 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. The graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Franklin Memory Gardens with Bro. Bobby Stancil officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.

He was born November 4, 1945, in Franklin County, AL to Walton and Emma Bearden.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Deetra Bearden; and his siblings, Charles Bearden, Ellen Wigginton, and Rose Nell Flanagan.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Bearden; his sons, Thomas Bearden Jr. (Lucy) and Dennis Bearden; his siblings, Freida Garrison, Judy Wright (Lynn), Priscilla Payne (Lambert), Pam Foster (Phillip), Dewayne Roden (Cindy), and Mark Roden Jr; his grandchildren, Jacob Bearden (Hannah), Gabriel Bearden, and Kaleb Bearden (Alyssa); and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Kamdyn, Kamryn, Anzlee, Charlee, Axel, Bodie, and Madelyn.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
