Tony Orlanda Tiggs

Tony Orlanda Tiggs, 49 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away January 25, 2021.

Visitation will be 12:30 pm- 1:30 pm Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL.  Graveside will immediately follow at Winston-Tiggs Cemetery with Rev. Bonner officiating.

He was born April 20, 1971, in Colbert County, AL to Percy Ed Tiggs and Julia Margaret Hamilton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Percy Tiggs; his mother, Julia Graham; his sister, Melanie Tiggs; and his nephew, Cordarrell Tiggs.

Tony is survived by his children, Ariel (Justin) Malone of Decatur, AL, Shala Abernathy of Tuscumbia, AL, Kala Abernathy of Tuscumbia, AL, David Donald of Decatur, AL, Taj Tiggs of Decatur, AL, Tamija (Darryl) Moore of Toney, AL, Zariah Tiggs of Decatur, AL, and Bryce Tiggs of Montgomery, AL; his siblings, Jackie Tiggs, Luther (Sylvia) Tiggs, and Christine Tiggs; and his twelve grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Marty Nance, Robert Groce, Rossi Gholston, Keenen Porter, Darius Freeman, and Steve Hollingsworth.

Akins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
