Virginia Corkren Obituary
Virginia “Sue” Corkren, 74 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away September 25, 2019.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2019, 1-2 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2 pm in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Mike Smith. Burial will be in Cherry Hill Cemetery.
Sue was born November 16, 1944 in Franklin County, AL to Cagby and Ruby Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Taft Corkren; and her sister, Elizabeth Poss.
Sue is survived by her son, Greg Carpenter & Wife; and her brother in law, Charles Poss.
