Walter "Wayne" Thomas

Walter “Wayne” Thomas, 81 years old of Russellville, AL. passed away April 25, 2018 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 28, 2018 from Noon – 2 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. A Graveside service will immediately follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery with Bro. John Gilbert Officiating.

Wayne was born December 29, 1936 in Franklin County, AL. to Elmer and Elzora THomas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dessie Thomas.

Wayne is survived by his sons, Wesley Thomas and Michael Thomas (Trisha); his brother, Clyde Thomas (Sally); his grandchildren, Talon Thomas (Grace) and Ethan Thomas (Michelle); and his great grandchildren, Nylah Thomas, Nova Thomas, and Raileigh Thomas.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
