Obituary
Wanda Kay Cantrell, age 77, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
She is survived by her daughters; Jadonna Bowen and Melissa (Lisa) Woodard (Hank); son, Samual Scott Cantrell (Amber Frey); sister, Sue Kimbrough; grandchildren Robert Cody Bowen, Paige McCluskey, Jared Prince, Ashton Bain, Emma Kate Cantrell and Elizabeth Cantrell.
She is preceded in death by her father, Alfred Leon Landers; mother, Edith Davis Landers and her brother, James Carlisle.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 1 pm – 3 pm at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama. The funeral service will follow at 3pm, in the Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in the Franklin Memorial Gardens, Russellville, Alabama.
Pallbearers Cody Bowen, Jared Prince, Jack Summers, Hank Woodard, Nathan Bain and Adam McCluskey.
Wanda was a member of Witness Outreach Ministries and she loved her 7 great grandchildren and great great grandchild.
She loved her tennis, Bunco Friends as well as Alabama football.
Akins Funeral Home of Russellville, Alabama assisted the family.
