William "Bill" Cedric Snell

William “Bill” Cedric Snell, 84 years old of Phil Campbell, AL. passed away September 4, 2021.  

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021, 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, AL. The Graveside service will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Phil Campbell, AL with Tony Snell and Larry Sandusky officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill cemetery.

He was born December 29, 1936, in Dale County, AL to Webster and Onnie Snell.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Phillips, Patricia, and Jean; his son, William C. Snell II; and his grandson, Anthony Snell Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Creekmore Whitlock Snell; his son, Tony Snell (Sarah); his three grandchildren, Dallas Ohsner (R.D.), Anna Snell, and Wilson Snell; and his great grandson, Eli Simmons.

Due to COVID-19, the family request that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing during the visitation.
