DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
In order to protect our families that we serve and our staff, per the recommendations and mandated order of the CDC, the ADPH, and the State Health Officer, we will be strictly following their guidelines and these can change daily.
During the arrangement meeting, only four family members will be allowed to be present at that time.  The production of the family memorial DVD has been ceased until further notice. It is our intentions to take care of the majority of the arrangement conference via phone or email.
We encourage graveside and outdoor services with a limit of 10 people meeting at the graveside (maintaining a consistent six-foot distance between persons).  These are mandated guidelines by the CDC, ADPH, and the State Health officer that we are strictly following.
We strongly suggest that children under the age of 12 and adults over the age of 60 or anyone with a compromised immune system do not attend.  This is only until we receive further instructions from the CDC, the ADPH, and the State Health Officer and is subject to change as needed.
If you have business that can be conducted over the phone, please call us instead of stopping by the office.
We strongly emphasize social distancing (maintaining six feet apart), frequent hand washing and sanitizing. We love and care for our families and we have to put public safety first.
These guidelines will allow our staff more time to clean and disinfect our facilities, to serve the needs of our families and to protect our community and staff.
We will continue to monitor COVID-19 and how the best to serve our families during this time. These guidelines will subject to change according to CDC recommendations.

Traditional and Cremation Services

Veterans Headstones

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death.   For eligible veterans that died on or after Nov. 1, 1990, VA may also provide a headstone or marker for graves that are already marked with a private headstone or marker. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

Flat markers in granite, marble, and bronze and upright headstones in granite and marble are available. The style chosen must be consistent with existing monuments at the place of burial. Niche markers are also available to mark columbaria used for inurnment of cremated remains.

When burial or memorialization is in a national cemetery, state veterans' cemetery, or military post/base cemetery, a headstone or marker will be ordered by the cemetery officials based on inscription information provided by the next of kin or authorized representative.

Spouses and dependents are not eligible for a Government-furnished headstone or marker unless they are buried in a national cemetery, state veteran's cemetery, or military post/base cemetery.

Note: There is no charge for the headstone or marker itself, however arrangements for placing it in a private cemetery are the applicant's responsibility and all setting fees are at private expense.
