Billy Mills

Billy Ray Mills, age 57 of Phil Campbell, AL. passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be Monday, March 6, 2017 from 5-6 PM for immediate family and 6-8 PM for friends at Akins Funeral Home Russellville. Billy will lie in state from 12-2 pm prior to the service. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 2PM at Blue Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. John McCullar officiating. Burial will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marie Mills, one brother Danny Mills and one sister Gladys Mills.

Billy is survived by his son Billy Lee Mills, his daughter Amanda Calhoun, sister Linda Calvert, brothers Jerry Mills and Terry Mills, grandchildren Jennifer Chasteen (Austin), Kristin Mills, Michael Porter, and Dunsten Porter, and a host of special nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Mills, Joseph Calhoun, Austin Chasteen, Kevin Johnson, Shane Baker, and Eric Mills.
