Grady Purser

Grady J. Purser, age 91 of Phil Campbell, AL. passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5-8 PM at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Phil Campbell. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2PM at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. John Humphres officiating. Burial will be in Frost Chapel Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gurley and Lillie Purser, his wife Dorothy Purser, five brothers and five sisters.

Grady is survived by his daughters Gloria Rollins (Bob), Dorothy Woodard, Jane Crittenden, and Lois Long, his sons Jessie Purser (Mildred), J.C. Purser, Brian Purser, and Edward Purser (Casey Haynes), grandchildren William Long (Susie), Marvin Long (Charlotte),Kristal Jackson (Rodney), Ellar Long Richburg, Dana Kidd (Randy), Lisa McCleese (Brandon), Dorothy Dover (Joey), Katie Woodard, Charles Crittenden (Jenette), Joshua Woodard, Courtney Hester (Jake), Corey Tittle, and Noah Tittle, 13 great grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Josh Woodard, Charles Crittenden, Matthew Dover, Braiden Dover, Corey Tittle, Noah Tittle, Tyler Jones, and Hayden McCleese.
